Is ';Brother'; a good, reputable and reliable brand for Mono/Laser Printers in Australia?

What about parts and service, should it be needed?

And availability and affordable replacement ink toners within Australia?

Particularly Regional Australia?Is ';Brother'; a good, reputable and reliable brand for Mono/Laser Printers in Australia?
It depends upon the model number. Service regardless of where you are is going to be in issue as not many people actually fix printers these days as the parts are quite costly. In terms of your consumable ink products, you want to ensure you have a model that uses minimal consumable parts. Some will require, toner, drums, and image transfer kits. ideally you will find a unit with a low cost toner and drum combo and no image transfer kit.

Before you make your decision ask the sales clerk about all the consumables. Price them out and research what their page yield is. Also, see if they are available in a compatible or third party Brand.Is ';Brother'; a good, reputable and reliable brand for Mono/Laser Printers in Australia?
I don't know about down in Australia, but in the USA they are excellent laser printers. Reliable and clean prints (no smudges), and it prints on a variety of paper types. Something a lot of printers can't do.

But before you buy this or any printer, check to see how much toner replacement cartridges cost in your area. This is what is really cost over time, not the printer.

This is know as the (TCO) Total Cost of Ownership, and it is something to check out on any item you buy.
Brother lasers, faxes, and multifunction devices have decent features, perform well, and are inexpensive.....but wait

BUT the toner is far from cheap. If you can get a good price on trade toner cartridges then I would recommend the product because the printers are inexpensive and reliable, in my experience.

Otherwise I go with the HP products.
Just better than ';sister';
