What happens if you use transparency paper meant for laser printers in an ink jet printer?

The ink slides right off and/or smudges easily. I don't recommend it. Get inkjet transparency paper, which has micro-perforations to hold the ink. Also, the inkjet transparencies have a thin, removable paper strip on one end of the transparency, so the ink jet printer has something to hold onto when printing the very end of the transparency.

Try something like these: http://www.staples.com/office/supplies/c鈥?/a>What happens if you use transparency paper meant for laser printers in an ink jet printer?
THE PRINTER WILL GO UP IN FLAMES!!! DONT DO IT!!!

Lol, nah JK... i don't think it will effect it. It usually would matter going the other way around...

Maybe the ink may not settle on the paper... but that's the worst that could happen
