Laser Printers?

I want to buy a laser printer. Do you buy it once and never need to refill the ';laser'; and not have to buy any inkjets or other equipment? If so, what else do you have to buy, how often? What is the best and cheapest type of laser printer to buy?

Around $100.Laser Printers?
It actually uses a toner and lasts about 2,500 pages or so. Depending on if you want a b%26amp;w laser printer or color printer is going to make a difference in price. On cnet.com I found you could get a b%26amp;w laser printer from $32 dollars! The lowest price color laser printer they had was $182 I believe: http://www.compu-america.com/ProdDisplay鈥?/a>

Also here is the link to all the printers where you can see the reviews and also the prices: http://reviews.cnet.com/4566-3159_7-0.ht鈥?/a>

Hope that helps! Good luck.Laser Printers?
the ';laser'; you have to refill is called a print cartridge which can run up to $250 easy. Do some research, you need to know what all you want it to do for you. THEN research the price of the print cartridge.

without buying a refurbished printer, i am unfamiliar with where you can buy one for the price range you are interested in. ebay, maybe??

you do not refill the laser, you do have to purchase toners to keep printing. toners are a cartridge similar to the inkjets, but they are powder and not liquid ink. they are much larger and more costly to replace. however, they last much longer and find out, in reality, that the cost per page is about the same or sometimes, even, much lower.

you will also find transfer kits and fuser kits that sometimes 'go out' and need replacing. based on the printer it may be less expensive to replace the printer when this happens.

in order to get the best information about laser printers visit consumer reports online site, or pc world.com's review of printers. they'll be able to guide you based on your needs.

hope this helps. good luck.
